NJ Child Advocates Network

NJCAN is open to all domestic violence program staff who work with children, whether in the Shelter or Outreach programs. The purpose of the network is to give Children’s Advocates a forum for exchanging information, ideas and materials. Members of NJCAN also use the meetings to case conference and for peer support meeting time is also used for formal in-service training in areas of interest to the members. NJCAN meets the first Thursday of the month from 10:30 to 3:00, except in July, August and December. Meetings are held at the Coalition meeting room.
