NJ Child Advocates Network

NJCAN is open to all domestic violence program staff who work with children, whether in the Shelter or Outreach programs. The purpose of the network is to give Children’s Advocates a forum for exchanging information, ideas and materials. Members of NJCAN also use the meetings to case conference and for peer support. Meeting time is also used for formal in-service training in areas of interest to the members. Meetings in 2010 will be held on March 12, May 14, July 9, September 10, and November 12. An in-service is usually presented from 10:30 to 12:30, with a working lunch and meeting until 1:30. 1:30. All meetings are held at the Coalition’s offices.
